For your convenience, here are instructions on how to properly take care of your new tattoo. Please feel free to copy & paste or screenshot these specific guidelines for your records. Happy healing!

• Take bandage off after 1 Hour.
• Wash tattoo with Antibacterial Soap and water.
• Blot dry with clean towel until completely dry.
• Apply Aquaphor or A and D ointment to the tattoo. (Apply a small amount of ointment, just enough to leave it feeling sticky or tacky)
• If you applied too much ointment, leaving the tattoo feeling “greasy”, lift the excess amount of ointment by blotting the area with a clean paper towel.
• Apply ointment 4-5 times daily. (Everyone’s skin absorbs moisture differently. A good rule of thumb to follow is whenever the tattoo feels “dry”, wash off the old ointment and apply the new. Repeat process throughout the day)
• Apply ointment for 2-3 Weeks until tattoo is fully healed.
• You can shower after the tattoo appointment or the next day. (Showers only. Do NOT soak)
• Cold or Hot water is okay.
• Any soap is fine in the shower except ones with “exfoliating additives”.
• Do NOT scrub the tattoo, wash gently with CLEAN hands only.
• Keep tattoo out of sun until fully healed.
• No jacuzzi, pool, beach water, chemically enhanced water of any kind.
• Tattoo will develop a light scab and peeling will occur. Do NOT pick, peel, or scratch the healing tattoo.
• Allow scabs and flakes of skin to fall off on their own.
• Do NOT re-bandage tattoo.
• Avoid pet dander.
• Breathable clothing material like cotton is allowed to be worn over the tattoo. (No LATEX clothing)
• Treat the tattoo like an open wound, please use common sense.
